DESIGN

I specialize in storytelling through brand design. My experience spans various industries, from finance to software to arts and culture.

Worked on everything brand design at NextPay YC W21.
Illustrated stock images and managed freelancers at Canva.
Designed for artists & arts organizations at Silverlens Galleries and the RISD Media Group.
Earned a degree in Graphic Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and received awards like the Sydney Richmond Burleigh scholarship and the Bo Bernstein Award.

WRITING

I'm interested in the overlaps between intimacy, technology, and culture. I bring this obsession of mine across different genres, from art criticism to tech reviews to personal essays.

Essay on social media and vulnerability was shortlisted at the Ateneo Art and Purita Kalaw-Ledesma Awards 2023.
Covers Manila art fairs and interviews trendsetters and art collectors for Cartellino.
Has tech critism published on Reboot.
Writes a bi-weekly blog on rewiring our relationship with the Internet, Zero Percent Sugar. Currently experimenting with personal essays on mad melancholia.

I also take my own photos to complement my art writing. I shoot with a Fujifilm X-A3 body and a Fujinon 23mm Aspherical Lens.
